Medical assistant classes online or at the campus? I am just wondering how I would get the actual training part if it is online? Is there more hands on training available in the on campus classes? I am just worried that I will gain less experience with online classes, and that employers will be less likely to hire me if I have an online degree. What do you think?

Is there anything I can do to help prepare me for medical transcription classes online? I will be starting Medical Transcription school this summer. Medical Assitant and Online Classes? Hello! I have a few questions about Medical Assisting and school programs. I am a 25 year old mother who works full time. I have a very hard time having any spare time to be able to go back to school. I have been wanting to go back for some time for a dental or medical assisting program. The only problem is that I work full time, and I have to work to support my family, and night classes are not offered in my area for these things. My sister brought up the option of taking online classes. While I feel I could manage that, I have heard that people don't take online degrees as seriously as if you were to attend an actual college. What do you think? If you were in my position, what would you do? Would you take the online classes and hope for the best? I feel like I am stuck in this dead end job and have no options because I didn't finish college. I also know that is nobody's fault but my own, but I don't want to be judged on what I didn't do, I want to be judged on what I am doing to fix it. Any suggestions? Online College Classes for Medical Billing and Coding? I've been looking into Medical Billing and Coding as a potential career,and I've also been looking into all the educational requirements that come with it.I know I need some college education before I can start working in this field,but I'm currently in a situation where I would only be able to take college classes online.I've found some colleges that offer the classes online,but I keep hearing that the degrees offered by colleges through online courses aren't always acceptable.I can afford to take the classes,but I can only afford them once,so I'm worried about earning a degree and then later finding out it's useless. So,here's my question:Does anybody know of a college that offers the classes required to become a Medical Coding and Billing Specialist online that's also properly accredited and generally accepted by employers in this field?

medical asst. classes online? my wife is pregnant with our second child and is going nowwhere as a receptionist at a ford dealer. Due to our income we cannot survive for her to quit work and go to school. how do i become a medical transcriptionist? what online colleges provide the best "bang for your buck?" i've done some research and have come to the conclusion that i'll probably need to take some kind of test to become certified, and these certifications may vary based on which region i'm in. the online classes appear to just ready me for this certification test, meaning i won't really have much to show for completing them other than the knowledge i'll receive, right? and would i be better off just completing a course in "medical administration" or "medical office management" as opposed to just limiting my self to a "medical transcriptionist?"
