  3. I've never heard of legitimate free training for medical transcription. There are various online courses, but the good ones cost in the $1000-3000 range. You can also take classes through community colleges, but once again, not free.
  4. The saying "you get what you pay for" applies here! Medical transcription education is not free, and it is not cheap. If this is a career that you are truly interested in, I highly recommend M-TEC for your education. They have payment plans and accept Sallie Mae education loans. They also have a 100% placement rate of their graduates.
