Online Medical Classes

Online College Classes for Medical Billing and Coding?

I've been looking into Medical Billing and Coding as a potential career,and I've also been looking into all the educational requirements that come with it.I know I need some college education before I can start working in this field,but I'm currently in a situation where I would only be able to take college classes online.I've found some colleges that offer the classes online,but I keep hearing that the degrees offered by colleges through online courses aren't always acceptable.I can afford to take the classes,but I can only afford them once,so I'm worried about earning a degree and then later finding out it's useless. So,here's my question:Does anybody know of a college that offers the classes required to become a Medical Coding and Billing Specialist online that's also properly accredited and generally accepted by employers in this field?
