Online Medical Classes

Im looking into taking a Medical Assistant class, online. Know anyone who has done this before?

1. I've been a Nurse for quite some time and Drs. used to use Nurse's. Now they use MA's so they don't have to pay a decent wage. Don't waste your time.
2. It depends on where you are planning to work, and what your goals are for the job. In many cities, where there are several technical schools,as well as community college programs which produce MAs there are more MA graduates per year than available positions. The graduates from those classes have hands-on instruction, which for a medical office would be a much better credential than a correspondence course. For example in my city there are over 22 MA schools, and over 700 too many MA grads for the advertised positions every year. It would be hard to compete in that market. However, if you are in an underserved area, where there are no MA training programs, and they need MAs, you might do OK with that course.
