What is a reputable online medical coding/billing school? ?

I am interested in taking classes and there are many online schools out there, confused as to which one is a good one!

However, it is a very difficult one to answer because only you know what you goals are once you complete a course: Are you going to be looking for employment? Are you going to start a home based medical billing business? Are you going to specialize in medical billing only? Are you going to specialize in medical coding? Are you going to continue your education so you can sit for the National Certification Exam for Coding? Are you going to continue your education at a college in order to acquire your RHIT or RHIA credentials? When you know what it is you are trying to accomplish in billing or coding then you have a better understanding of what kinds of courses you should be looking for. Then once you have a handful of them you can start the process of elimination based on variable such as: Teachers backgrounds, practical experience and accomplishments The types of topics included within the course Length of the course Referrals from past and present students Cost of the courses Payment options And a slew of other things that aren’t coming to mind as I write this but you get the idea. If you were asking about what is the best course to take for starting a homebased medical billing business or service then I know exactly where you should be enrolling but as I said it all starts with what it is you are trying to accomplish once you finish a course.
