Anybody ever taken an online class or entire course? Is it worth the effort? Do employers take it seriously?
I can't help wondering if an employer would think the online course less valid than if you took the same course at a college campus. I want to try an online medical billing course, but I'd like to hear someone else's experiences first.

- Actually, I have heard that more employers are beginning to take online classes more seriously. Part of the reason is because more people hold jobs during "regular" class hours and online is more flexible. Another plus I think employers look at is discipline. Most of the students that I have talked to agree that it takes more discipline to do online courses than traditional courses in a classroom. Employers love workers that they can depend on to work without having to constantly check on them, that are self-motivated.
- I don't know what employers think but I know some people believe if you can master online classes then you have achieved a lot. On the other hand the people who take online classes view them as easier. You can also take medical billing with a correspondence college. Try Ashworth University 1-800-224-7234.
