anyone know of a good online medical transcription course?

i'm looking for and online program for medical transcription. i see a bunch, but does anyone know of a good one? anyone know anything about the JER group and their online program...is it good?

1. Go to www.ahdionline.com for a list of approved schools. There is a certain criteria that transcription schools have to meet and this website has a list of the ones that meet that criteria. There is A LOT of information you need to know to be a successful transcriptionist and most of the schools you'll find online won't teach you everything you'll need. The ones listed on this website are typically more expensive than ones you'll find elsewhere, but if you're getting a better education that will actually get you a job, it's worth it.
2. I went with Meditec.com. They have an internship program to get you started working. I really enjoyed the program.
3. There are no formal education to be a medical transcriber. There may be special courses and trainings that you could take to become more apt as a medical transcriber but other than that you just have to know your task and responsibilities. Knowing what it first would let you learn what abilities you should have.
4. Online medical transcription course should provide different type of dictations, exposure of medical specialities, after that capable enough to show placement. I think http://www.andhrascribe.com/ is better as they are offering only for 6000/- Indian rupees. You can interact with their trainees at below group.
5. Career Step has a good program and even offers placement assistance after you graduate if you chose the Platinum program. The Career Step course is all online and is self paced so you can work on it on your own time. The course is very comprehensive and has a lot of actual doctor dictation.
