Online Medical Classes

Has anyone out there ever taken an online course in medical transcription.?

I have been thinking of taking an online course in medical transcription and was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with this and if it is a good idea or not. I really think it would be and I can't find a school near me that offers it.

1. MT Advantage Career Center offers a great online course. They also have job placement help for graduates. According to the occupational outlook handbook, the filed of MT is expected to grow through the year 2016. Best wishes to you.
2. Be careful there are many scams online. The teaching of medical transcription is not regulated. Some people will charge you over a thousand dollars for the same information you can find in a $30 book. I would suggest you read some of the free medical transcription guides before paying for one. The accreditation test is what really matters to employers.
