What is better career institute or national accreditted school?

I am trying to get online certificate in medical transcription. But so far, i have seen many online school that are DETC and approved by BBB. Although, some are nationally accreditted and others are career institure. Are they the same or which one is better. I want to choose the best one out there. The costs are little different thou. Is the ALLIED SCHOOL good school. It is online school. What do you think??

1. crap, scam and more crap. go to a real school.

Actually a Regionally accredited school is what one would want to look into, however, I personally would steer clear of online, for profit schools such as university of phoenix, strayer u, ITT tech as they are out to 'make a profit'. Perhaps the local community college (even non-credit course) offers an online course. And please steer clear from penn foster and stratford career as there are several complaints listed at: http://www.ripoffreport.com and search 'penn foster' or such. 3. There is no such thing as "national accreditation". Schools are regionally accredited- depending on where you live. BBB is not an accreditation agency. Go to the department of education: http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/ From there you can checkout who is accredited. You will ALWAYS want to attend an accredited institution so other schools AND companies recognize the work you did.
