Online Medical Classes

IM buying a dog online and to me it sounds like a scam, any help?

This is what he said to me. Hello, nice reading from you regarding this our adorable puppy. She is available and waiting for a family that will adopt her and provide her a loving, caring and forever home. She is 12 weeks old, , healthy,AKC registered, and current on all her medical check-ups. Health records are available and she has a two years genetic health guarantee. She is microchiped and dewormed. She has also been both house and potty trained. She is very friendly, plays around with kids and other domestic animals. She has a very good temperament. Bred and brought up in a clean environment (family house), so she tends to meet many people. She will be the perfect addition to your family. You will love her if you make her part of your family. I am giving her for free adoption to an approved home ONLY!You will take care just for the transportation and the transfer of ownership papers in your names which is $300 and as soon as i get the money,i will book her a flight to your location. Delivery will be done to your closest airport with playing toys,a crate and all paper works. I just relocated and unfortunately for me, the new apartment I moved into, does not accept pets. So i have to give her out to any good home. I have a recident permit in Los Angeles CA but i just relocated in Lakes Island Cameroon for studies, where I am presently with her. That is why you are going to pay just her transport fair for her to be transported over to you. But before we proceed,I would love to know a little more about you and your family. So if you can just let me know with the answers to the questions below, i will be grateful. How soon do you need a puppy? Are you morally and financially prepared for a puppy? Who will look after the puppy when you are not around? Do you have kids and other pets to play around with her? Do you have a vet around you?Where she will be checked constantly? Where are you located and any contact number please? I hope you get me these answers sincerely and please feel free to ask any questions about her. Some photos are attached. Hope to read from you soonest. (Then the last thing he said) He told me that the airport was going to call me and confirm that the dog is going to be shipped after i payed the guy, well someone called Unkown and was talking stuff i couldnt even under stand this is what he said to that. I dont know what happened that you did not understand what he said.I instructed them not to deliver her untill you pay me the $300.So if you are ready to pay already, then mail me back for my details. After you confirm you have paid,i will inform them to do the delivery. Thanks. then i didnt reply and he sent this. Hello, you coould pay the money via Western Union to the address below: NAMES..............................YONKEH HENRY CITY.................................. AKWA STATE ..............................DOUALA ZIP CODE...........................237 COUNTRY...........................CAMEROON AMOUNT.............................$300 You will be asked a test question and answer and so you will use TEST QUESTION...................WHOSE TEST ANSWER.....................MINE When you are through wih the payment, mail me the money transfer control number that is the MTCN so i could pick up the money. As soon as i pick it up,i will get the airport informed and she will be delivered to you. 1. I think the ad sounds ridiculous. Don't buy a puppy online! Go to your local animal shelter, or go to a pet store! Good luck and enjoy!
  2. Its a scam. Shipping from overseas cost much more than that. ETA: Don't bother with Kijiji either. Only bybs and puppymills use that site.
  3. I didn't even finish reading it. You should always buy an animal in person so you can see it's health and behavior for yourself. Look on Kijiji or in the newspaper to find someone local.
  4. Pretty obvious that it is Spam. Do not send any information to this person.
  5. It has SCAM written all over it. Don't do it. Plus, you should adopt but its understandable if you want a pure bred dog. The best thing to do is look for local breeders and run a check, just to make sure it isn't part of a puppy mill.
  6. This is a well known scam for people that are looking on the internet for pups. Do not give this person any money. Their pup doesn't exist.
  7. There are all kinds of flavors of this scam. Cars are the most popular. There are several giveaways here: You're being asked to wire money somewhere in Africa You're buying something sight unseen You're buying from a private individual DO NOT EVER wire money in an arrangement like this. You will not get what you paid for, and there is no way to recover your money.
  8. Oldest scam ever...."pay for the puppy now, and we'll ship it to you..." Whatever: red flags allllllll over this one... don't fall for it.
  9. INFAMOUS SCAM!!! What cave have you been hiding in for the last ten years?
  10. That's probably the most common pet scam there is. Buying a pet on line is generally not a good idea, unless you're interested in either a BYB pup, or you'd like to make a donation to a scam artist. Really, why not check out your local rescues. You can locate rescues within a reasonable distance on http://www.petfinder.com/ There are plenty of breed specific rescues if you're set on a certain kind of dog, or you could go for a good ol' mutt. Either way you'll be saving a life instead of lining the pockets of those intent on profiting off yet another dog born into a world with too few homes.
  11. This is a well known scam, don't get suckered in. Why the TD?? This is a clear cut yes or no answer, and it is a well known scam. Don't you wish that TD left you name like stars did
  12. You are kidding of course. I can't believe that you don't know about this scam.. It's COMMON knowledge.
  13. This is a SCAM! Do NOT send this person any money, you won't see your money ever again and no dog will be delivered to you! This scam is VERY well known in the dog community, please look up the Parent Club of the breed you are interested in and get a dog from a REPUTABLE breeder, or go to a shelter and save a dog's life.
  14. It's a scam. DO NOT BUY A PUPPY ON-LINE. Go to your local shelter and save a life. Or you can go to petfinders.com
  15. this is a very common scam do not ever buy a dong online go to an animal shelter and pick a dog there that way you can play with them some so you find the right dog for you
  16. First clue: Buying a dog online. Second clue: CAMEROON - notorious for scammers Third clue: Western Union BIG TIME, WELL-KNOWN SCAM
  17. Scam!
  18. If you want a great dog - and you want to save one from a shelter, take in a discarded, abused or just unwanted dog and get the best pet in the world. Then skip the breeders. I have two chihuahua who I love dearly. My first, Puck, is 2 years old and I can't imagine life without him. I bought him from a breeder who posted on line. First I want to say that I am glad I got him and would trade him for the world - but I would never again buy from a breeder. Why, because there area 10's of thousands of dogs in your area looking for a home and yet breeders and puppy mills are over producing in an area that is already saturated with unwanted animals. My second dog, Romeo, was adopted through petfinder.com. He is a joy! Give their site a visit. You can search for pet based on age (puppy adult mature) on sex, on breed and size and on location. Also, they let you know some of the dogs characteristics, whether he/she is housebroken, etc... Anything you were looking for from a breeder (unless you are looking for a show dog - and even that you could probably find) you will find here. And even better you'll be saving a dog from an early visit to doggy heaven.
