court reporting transcription service?
Several years ago I did medical and court transcription from home. Is there still a need for this type of service? At that time I transcribed from tapes onto a word processeing program and then emailed the finished document to the client or mailed a hard copy. I was local to a lot of clients so could drive to pick up the tapes. I wasn't "certified" in any of it just did the typing and enjoyed it immensley. Can you tell me how to find the certification course on-line please? thanks

- My daughter makes $15-20/hr working from home as a med tran. The need for it has expanded, not lessened. You will need proof of your previous work, if you don't want to get certed (altho it only takes a few months, and can be done online). Go to a nearby hospital or clinic, ask around. These days, they can email you the work (no tapes, driving) involved.
- there is still a strong need for medical transcription!!!
