In my medical terminology class i have to build a medical terms for the following? 1.Affecting two sides. 2.Affecting one side.

1. Bilateral Unilateral Contra-lateral is the other (or opposite) side. I am an RN.
2. Affecting two sides = Bilateral Affecting one side = Unilateral bi = two uni = one lateral = side or sideways I hope this helps. Good luck with the course.
