what are some things you might do to make it easier to learn medical terms?

1. Study Latin prefixes/suffixes.
2. Well, the good news is that through exposure and use you'll pick them up naturally....it's just like learning any new language. That, of course, doesn't help in the short-term. Try using flash cards (term on one side, definition or relevant info on the other) and drill yourself....make sure you can go both ways (identify the term from the definition and the definition from the term). For some people it's helpful to look at the greek and latin roots of the word--once you get familiar with the greek/latin meanings of the prefixes and suffixes you can often figure out the meaning (eg anything "osteo-" will have to do with bones, "hepato-" will usually be liver, etc).
