Is it better to work in big company like Spheris (medical transcription) or other small companies?

1. Everybody has their opinions on this... some people feel lost in the crowd with a larger company, while some people feel that a smaller company will hold greater risk if work loads go down. I've never actually worked for a company -- only for myself as a contractor directly with physicians and hospitals (which I guess made me a MTSO). MT jobs are found on the website below -- large and small companies alike.
2. Always work pressures and targets will be more when you work in Big companies, but job security will be there. You have to work on multiple departments. You should be highly talented to get promotion, lot of competition will be there. In small companies, individual attention will be more, but job security less. Basically, small companies will depend on one or two a/cs, if they lose, story ends. If small companies also, some very good professional companies are there. It is better to inquire and join.
