Where can I find a online medical transcription training course?

I am wanting to do medical transcrition work at home. I have already took one class doing transcription. But I have found out that I need more than just the one class to do this kind of work. Does any one know of any courses online that are good to take for this work?

2. There are the "big 3" schools known in medical transcription circles. If you go to one of them you are pretty much gauranteed an at home job from one the the big employers like Spheris. There are ALWAYS and I mean always debates going on any of the medical transcription boards. Try http://www.mtstars.com , do a search to find more they have about 5 big sites with forums. They are always talking about which schools are the best, arguing about it, etc. I can't tell you the one I went to because I don't want to be advertising but I will tell you I got a job right away. Spheris http://www.spheris.com has an agreement with the schools to hire grads. Hope this helps.

4. There are several online schools that have the medical transcription program. The "3" popular schools are Andrews, Mtec and Career Step. I am currently doing my research now so I can futher my education and become a medical Transcriptionists. Career Step is one of the big 3 and is alot cheaper. Also it seems like you will be able to get a job at home by the popular employers like Spheris, etc. if you take the course at Career Step. Without having to have years of experience. I think I am going to go with Career Step. But do your research and choose which school out the the top 3 might fit your criteria.
