Has anyone attended Gaitlin Education Services medical transcription certificate course?

Did you have a good experience? Did they help you find a job after graduation?

1. I am not familiar with Gaitlin Education Services but I do know that Career Step has a great medical transcription course. Their course is online. They even have hours of practice with real doctor dictation so you get good practice/experience. It is AHDI approved and Career Step partners with top medical transcription employers. They offer job placement assistance if you get the Platinum program. So it may be worth looking into. Here is a link to their course demo. Check it out and see what you think. 2. There is an online guide to choosing a medical transcription course of study on the website below. Learn the difference between getting a certificate and being "certified"... big difference. Not affiliated with any school, just good free info.
3. I've seen the course outline but didn't feel it offered enough dictation practice. I went with Meditec.com. They have an internship that helps you get working right away. Good luck to you.
