2. I went with Meditec.com. Medical transcription is a vocational training program/career. You don't need college credits that transfer w/ it so accreditation for college transfer credit is unimportant. It IS important to go w/ a long-standing licensed school w/ a good BBB rating.
3. It is better to go through AHDI.org or aamt.org, www.mtstars.com details about colleges of MT.
4. I really like the Career Step course. Their course is all online and AHDI approved. They even have been accredited through the Better Business Bureau. They partner with top employers of medical transcriptionists in the industry and can help you find a job if you enroll in the platinum course. They have a demo of their course that you can view.
