1. I trained with Career Step. I received quality training and was able to find a job as a new graduate within a couple of weeks. Some other good schools are: Andrews School M-Tec All of these medical transcription courses are approved by AHDI (formerly known as the American Association of Medical Transcription). There are other courses listed on their website as well but these are usually the three that I recommend. You need to do your own research and see which school would be best for you. Actually, Career Step just started offering a free demo of their course on their website. 2. I trained w/ Meditec.com. They have a great payment plan of $200 down and $50 a month, plus they have an internship program to help you get you started working.
