- Yes do it
- no
- Yes there are a lot of good transcription courses that are on line, and that will accept you to be able to do them. This course is different than those of nursing, or other practical skill ones. Medical Transcription is primarily on the computer anyways.
- There are good medical transcription online courses out there that offer the convenience of training when you have time instead of attending a scheduled class. One online training course I found is Career Step. I found them through http://bestmedicaltranscriptiontraining.com/ which has tips on what to look for in a MT training course. Career Step partners with employers so they know what employers are looking for when they hire MTs. They even recommend Career Step's training to those who don't pass their pre-employment exam. Mumbai. Is that India? They don't offer their course in India though. Sorry, didn't see that till just now.
- I have taken the Career Step course. I recommend it to everyone - friends, family, strangers. Career Step is an AHDI approved program and they are partnered with many of the major MT employers. In other words, their graduates get the jobs. Many companies require 2-3 years experience, however, a lot of these companies will waive this requirement if you graduate from the right school. http://www.homecareerinfo.com/1538/
- Yes, online is better. All the material will come to your home and exams. You can sit and learn at home. At the end of course, you can work from home.
