Can anyone recommend a reputable Medical Transcription on-line training program?

3. Accreditation is a priority. Please don't spend money or go to a school that is not accredited. You will either be unqualified or tied to the school/program you got involved with. The limitations will make you cry. Simply ask "Are you accredited?" before you sign on the dotted line, I don't care who it is. If you don't you will only limit yourself. A certificate or diploma from a school that is not accredited will serve you no purpose. If they hem and haw and give you a half---- answer they're probably not accredited. Did you notice how many times I have used the word accredited?
4. There are several reputable on-line schools. Research each one carefully and ask questions. They should be AHDI-approved schools. Getting your first job and requisite experience is always the biggest hurdle. Make sure the school you select has good relationships with employers and a placement program.
5. The person who went to At Home Professions is right to a degree. It is important to choose a school that has been in business many years w/ a proven track record. The schools specifically mentioned to you are known to be good. I trained with Meditec.com and was very happy w/ my training. They have an internship program to get you working right away.
