Online Medical Classes

Can you take online courses to became a certified medical assistant?

I would like to be a medical assistant but I am only looking to be certified at this point.

1. You may be able to do the book portion online, but you will still need to do the clinical hours in a medical office to complete the training and become certified. Can't do it without it.

3. I've been a medical assistant for 5 years without certification. and I've worked with many who are certified. I've known quite a few who got their degrees online and simply did an internship at their local doctor's office... he|| a few times our own patients would intern for us then finish school and get hired somewhere else. the 'clinic hours' for the two interns we had was 2 weeks of half days. Not bad.
