- You know that a hospice is where people who are terminally ill go, right? Well I used to work in one. So you could ask about the types of conditions that are represented within the hospice - for example, what proportion have HIV and AIDS. You could ask how different terminally ill people interact with each other (when I was working there, the homosexual AIDS sufferers formed a sort of clique, and didn`t want to associate themselves with the AIDS sufferers who had caught HIV through sharing needles - it really was quite weird.) You could ask, rather importantly, I think, how people deal with being told they are going to die fairly soon. Ank finally, you could ask if the speaker can provide any cautionary tales. I met a girl who was suffering from (and ultimately died of) anorexia nervosa. Good luck with your questions.
- You might ask how people get admitted. Does demand exceed the number of places available and how do they decide who gets offered a place.
