Are there really medical transcription jobs out there?
Or at least can I get a medical assistant job with AA & being a certified medical transcriptionist? I just want to make sure all this time and money Im putting into this will pay off?

- My daughter did the med ins billing and has worked every single day since starting, changed jobs and is making 6 an hour more than her first job, shes been doing it now for about 4 years. I would go to HR at a hospital near you and ask them, what really goes on and is needed in the medical careers of today The schools told my daughter she was totally goign to be trained, they forgot to mention to get more education itd be two more years at a jc, which she almost did thank god she didnt, she did not need to do more schooling to get a great job. Go look at all teh hospital websites in your area, they allhave job boards, look what the prerequisites are for jobs, between that and the HR person, you will know the best target. Medical is always in need, but dont pay to learn to do a bottom job with no advnacment withou more school, do one that gets you somewhere. Daughter was in school (I think) 10 months.
