Would I earn more money if I become a medical assistant along with my esthetician license?

I should receiving my esthetician license within the next few months and I'm considering doing my medical assistant certificate online, so I was wondering if anyone who works in both fields or knows for that matter if that will help me earn a little more money maybe in cosmetic surgeons office or a medical spa. please let me know ~thank you! =)
