- You can see ahdi.org for best MT schools or you can join in any one forum like mtstars.com etc and discuss about MT schools with already joined people.
- Medical Transcription, simply putting it is typing out a recorded voice message of a doctor. These medical records are necessary for communication between health care professionals, to aid and advance the science of medicine and to comply with laws and serve in support of an insurance claim. A step by step procedure of Medical transcription: * Doctors in the US speak into a voice recorder, dictating their patient's medical report * His voice goes to a central computer * The voice is converted into digital signals, which are beamed up to a communication satellite * Data received from the satellite is transcribed into written form in India * Transcribed reports are bounced back to US as digital signals via satellite * After being processed by the central computer again the data reaches the doctors' table the next morning as a printed report -- Find a Institute Which is Old , Can Give Placement and More over Near By you . - I teach medical front office but honestly don't know much about either school. Check with local employers and find out which training programs they prefer. Some employers will not hire graduates of certain schools. Generally your least expensive options would be your local junior college, adult school or regional occupation training program (ROP). It is best if they provide an externship. The private schools are the most expensive but usually do provide an externship of some sort. Before you begin ANY training program I recommend you check your local area to find out whether or not there is a need for transcriptionists. Some doctors now use voice recognition software, electronic medical records or outsource their transcription to another country (it's cheaper and with the time difference the reports are done when the doctor arrives the next morning) so they don't hire locally.
