Becoming a medical assistant ONLINE? Please Help?

I was looking at a website to become a medical assistant online and I was just wondering if anyone has done this and is it legitimate and will doctors offices actually accept this certificate? 1. To be honest, No one I know would hire any medical person trained on-line. There is just too much that has to be learned by see, do, evaluate and you need that face-time to learn many of the subtleties of patient care.
2. I just got signed up for classes today on medical assisting, and medical billing and medical transcription. YES 3 different courses. I signed up from Ashworth College to do online classes. I have been researching the medical field for like 2months now and I think that medical assistant is in good demand and I think it'll keep going up the next few years. I think with the economy so bad that the medical field is a great choice cause we will always need hospitals, and doctor offices, nursing Homes etc..so the medical field will always have a demand. So i signed up this evening to get me started. I think you should go into it. Check out Ashworth college.
