1. The way my 2 sisters and cousin got into this profession without schooling is: They found new medical offices with 1 or 2 Dr.'s and very few patients; then offered their services at unbelievable low prices. This can be great for one learning how as well as the office that needs the service. I don't know what they charged, when they started out, but it seems like it was 1 or 2 cents per word. Anyways, 1 sister and the cousin retired at this profession and the other sister is now making well over $100K a year working part time for, I think 5 or 6 Dr.'s. Good Luck!
