For transcription. how do you spell this word? It has to do with diabetes. I think it's a medication. ? And does anyone know any online medical dictionaries for transcription or a reference for most misheard words? Any way to look up a word phonetically?? Thanks in advance for the help. the sentence is " she has diabetes and is controlling with diet and ANTIHEPERTINZ (??) " Thanks Timberwolf!

  1. I've just looked on a diabetes treatment website and hypertension was mentioned. Could it be that? Perhaps you'd find what you're looking for there if not? www.medicinenet.com/diabetes_treatment/article.htm
  2. Heparin is a blood thinner. Anti-heparin is treatment for blood that is too thin during dialysis.
