- well to be honest if this is supposed to be an essay for you to futher your career then you should be completing it!!Theres no point passing an exam if you didnt do it off your own back, you not going to futher your expertise asking other people especially to basically write it for you. Stop Cheating!!!!!
- just search in the latest guidelines and the policy of the hospital about cross infection control. also you can use nursing journals such as nursing times and nursing standard. best of luck.
- You really must think of this yourself. We wont be there to help you in the operating theatre! Read the question again, 'What contribution could you make to reduce hospital acquired infections?' I'm not going to do the essay for you, but what do you think you can do as an individual to help keep infections down. Obviously hygiene and cleanliness is one but what about raising awareness about the situation amongst your colleagues......
- the most important thing you can do is wash your hands
- They are looking for your understanding of basic procedures in place. Hand washing, steralisation procedures etc. I personally would have grave concerns about a medical student that couldn't write or couldn't be bothered to write one a4 page on a basic subject. My advise would be to hit the college library instead of the common room. Best of luck
- i cant make it to an a4 but i will give you some basic advise...... blood is your main concern of acquired infections so use a protective equipments like globes ,,,full face cover from mask to eye cover, head covering,,,,,full bodycovering of a throw away material and foot like sock covering of a throw away type too any material that were used must be used once only and completely disposed of properly all beds and materials must be dissinfected properly and all the surgery equiptments and utilities must be properly dissinfected too toilets are one of the culprit that caused infection ,,,,,from the shared soap we use up to the toilet bowl we sit,
- Don't worry. all what you have to do is just read some nursing journals and that's it. you do not have to be a brilliant essay writer to work in hospitals. working in hospital is about how to care for patients and not about using big words.
- Hi, the basis of this is to wash hands, making sure the equipment is kept sterilised (for instance if you drop a tray of surgical instraments replace them), your personal hygeine. Keeping the working area & floor clean after operations, hope this is of some help & good luck with it
- Those of you who said hand-washing are spot on - ALL the research points to an effective hand-washing method as the single most effective way to stop Hospital Acquired Infection (HAI) and to prevent Cross Infection. The source below gives a nice little teaching strategy for hand-washing and will also teach you about research. Those of you who unrealistically think that students should somehow "know it" and were told to "do it yourself" without any help or guidance, should not log on to 'homework help' as it clearly makes some of you angry and quite often abusive; why would you do that to yourself, give the category a miss if you can't be more positive. That's what teaching is about - guiding and facilitating - not giving someone the answer. Lee G has been given help by guiding him/her in the right direction, but he/she still has to write and present the assignment.
- Its called universal Precautions. Washing hands, wearing gloves, using antibacterial gels ect
