What career should I get in to?
I'm 15 and in Canada... I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. Can anyone give me some general or specific ideas/advice? Here are some subjects and my marks. Favorite subjects: Gym (80's or 90's) Business (90%+) Civics (90%+) Okay subjects: Math (70's or 80's) English (80's) Hated subjects: Science :P (70's, maybe 80's) Interests: TV Movies Music Sports And some other information if needed... I'm pretty good with computers, but don't want a career where i sit in front of it all day. Something with good pay would be great, where I can have friends at the job and not be extremely over worked... Like 8-10 hours a day, at least 1 weekend day off. I plan on going to university by the way. I was thinking business, or marketing, but I don't know... Of course healthcare is off limits since I don't like science. Law to, since it's not so stable from what I hear and it requires way to much work...

- Sounds like business is the way to go. If you don't want long hours stay away from marketing as the tops in that field do crazy hours.
- take a course in college that helps u figure out what u could major in. i kno it sounds stupid. u should take electives that u think are interesting and see which one u like the best doing.
- Marketing is a very broad field with lots of opportunity. It's ever-changing and there will always be a demand for marketers.
- Socrates or someones else cool said. Know yourself. it is not easy. There is a book titled self analysis by ron l. hubbard. You may want to start there. Regards,
- I worked for other people most of my life and it is a waste. You should think about becoming a personal trainer first, then after you begin to make money, open a workout gym. Especially if you have a gym that focuses on the needs of really overweight people you will make more money than you can spend. So think in terms of working for yourself. Focus on your love of sports and all of that, but learn some business stuff as well so your fitness clubs can be solvent.
