I need to wirte an essay 1500words on anything in healthcare any suggestions?

hi i am about to apply for a uni course for ODP and need to write an essay 1500 words on anything in healthcare. i really want to make a good impression but the topic is so vague i need some inspiration!! i am happy to the research etc but what to base it on i don't know maybe infection control in theatres? is the best i've come up with any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated. many thanks

1. how about the pubic hairs that can be found on the supposedly clean sheets in NHS hospitals and the neglect they show their patients I HAVE HAD A FEW BAD EXPERIENCES!!

5. There was a recent news story about vitamin supplements leading to premature death. That would be interesting to research (which always helps when you have to write about it).
6. Whatever you choose to write on, you need to have a personal interest in it for it to be a good essay. Have a browse online at different topics until one jumps out at you as being really interesting. good luck!
7. right about the current NHS deficit and how services are being cut to make up the shortfall. hundreds of millions that was promised for sexual and mental health services has been used to make up the shortfall instead of being used to help people. if you look on the times or guardian newspaper websites, there are loads of articles that can help.
8. what about infection control in the whole hospital and how each department follow policies. then u would have a variety of different procedures. infection control is very serious and i think its a good subject with the mrsa issue. very good luck and remember to reference everything.

11. Piepie is a p.rat. She's having a go at you and then says just drop out, when you clearly said you were appyling for a course and wanted inspiration, not someone to do it for you. So lets hope she's not wasting a college or uni's time as she obviously can't read. Why not do health services as a whole. Maybe an overview of the healthcare thats available in this country and how it compares to others. Good luck.
